DoorPin
OK folks, this is my custom made door pin.
I started by replacing the standard plastic door pins with a set of chrome ones (about £40). I then had to shave the top of the hole that the door pin goes into with a scalpel to give me a flat surface. I then glued rubber o-rings onto this surface. This stops the pins from rattling in their housing (a common problem if you replace plastic pins with metal ones). The final touch was to track down some purple ex-casino dice. This took my a while as most casino’s use red dice. These come from Harvey’s Resort, Lake Tahoe and were actually used on the craps table. I then drilled and glued the dice onto the door pins.

My First Week
So – got my own blog set up. Don’t find WordPress a particularly intuitive website to use, but I’m sure I’ll get used to it.
Here is a piccy of my car – yeah. I know it’s not to every-body’s taste, but I love it and it’s won prizes at car shows.
